In a world of pre-assembled and electronic items we were drawn to things you could assemble yourself. Originally the idea was to purchase a machine that would allow us to make remote control airplane kits (a childhood dream for one of us) and allow us to work from home (a dream for the other one of us). When looking at the machine for the airplanes it was realized that it would allow us to do both. It came with a pattern for a T-Rex which started us on an idea of offering other items that could be assembled. After working a few years with patterns that were purchased, we learned to design them ourselves.
